Mohammed Abdrabboh, MD (Administrative Chief)

Mohammed was born in Dearborn, Michigan. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and later attended Michigan State University College of Human Medicine for his medical degree. His interests within Family Medicine include hospital medicine, urgent care, and sports medicine. Mohammed’s favorite hobbies are playing sports, video games and traveling.

Lauren Carney, DO

Lauren was born and raised in the Metro Detroit Area. She is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Lauren is interested in preventative medicine and hopes to incorporate an emphasis on the mind-body-spirit connections into her future practice outside of the hospital. She and her husband enjoy sampling Michigan craft beer, taking weekend trips up North and entertaining their dog-child Arnold.

Manmeet (Mona) Dhillon, MD (Administrative Chief)

Mona was born and raised in Toronto and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto. She decided to take the plunge and pursue medical education in the small island of Saba, at Saba University School of Medicine. In her spare time, Mona enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing volleyball, attempting to learn how to cook and traveling with her husband. Her interests in family medicine include preventative medicine and geriatrics.

John Hagan, DO

John was born in Flint, Michigan. He graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has wanted to work in Southeast Michigan since beginning medical school, and is excited to be working at Providence. His professional interests include men’s health and geriatric medicine. John enjoys spending time with his two children and watching the Tigers and Red Wings whenever he can.

Bilal Malek, MD

Bilal was born and raised in Michigan, moving to Southeast Michigan in 1995. He attended Wayne State University for his undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences and completed his medical degree at American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten. Having spent two years of his secondary education in Tripoli, Libya as well as three years abroad during his medical studies, Bilal has developed a strong appreciation for cultural diversity. Besides reading, he also enjoys local (and abroad) motorcycle touring and wrenching on his ’92 Nighthawk in the cold seasons. Within, Family Medicine, Bilal’s interests lie in the integrated core model.

 

Madeleine McMall, DO (Administrative Chief)

Madeline grew up in Brighton, Michigan and attended Michigan State University College of Medicine. She is a Spartan fan and enjoys attending MSU football and basketball games with her family. Go Green! Madeline is interested in pediatrics, women’s health and comprehensive care, which makes family medicine a great fit. In her spare time, Madeline enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cycling and cooking.

Jamie Qualls, DO, MPH

Jamie grew up in Metropolitan Detroit and had a previous career in architectural marketing before pursuing the DO/MPH program at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Jamie is interested in plant-based nutrition, community wellness, and chronic disease prevention. She plans to stay in Southeast Michigan and focus on these things in her practice. In her spare time, Jamie’s interests including cooking, gardening, travel and airplanes.

Samantha Wein, MD

Samantha was born in Georgia and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University for her undergraduate degree and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine for her medical degree. Her professional interests include primary care, community medicine, preventative medicine and working in under-served populations. She also has an interest in public health and clinical research. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Jared, family, and close friends, watching movies, dancing and trying new food. In the future she plans to practice in an under-served community.

John Zakhary, MD

John grew up in London Ontario, Canada and graduated from the University of Western Ontario with his undergrad degree. He then attended Saba University School of Medicine in the Dutch Caribbean for his medical degree. John’s professional interests in family medicine include geriatric care, sports medicine and obstetrics. In his spare time, John loves to travel, cook and spend time with his family and friends.
